Cutter Law P.C.

How a given driver acted can be a very important issue in legal actions related to car accidents. It can impact what sorts of arguments and options crash victims who are bringing such actions are able to pursue. It is also, however, an issue that can sometimes be difficult to determine. Finding clear evidence on how a driver acted isn’t always easy. The possibility of challenges arising in relation to proving how certain parties acted in a car crash is among the things that make it so having good legal guidance can be an incredibly important thing for a car crash victim when pursuing compensation.

How drivers in an area act in general can also be an important matter. It can impact overall traffic safety in that area. In a previous post, we noted that Sacramento was identified as having the country’s worst drivers in a report. How is California as a whole doing when it comes to driver safety?

Another report, this one from SmartAsset, indicates that California as a whole also doesn’t rank very well when it comes to how its drivers act. The report ranked the states after gauging the quality of the states’ drivers using various factors.

While California wasn’t ranked the state with the worst drivers in the country, it was in the top ten for worst drivers. Specifically, it took the No. 8 spot.

As a note, California was not in the top ten in the previous year’s report. This raises questions as to whether California’s drivers are getting less vigilant on the roads. Do you think California’s drivers might be getting less safe? If so, what do you think should be done in response?
