Case Manager TVM

Previously, I worked for four years in an Assisted Living Facility as a care giver for people with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia. I worked one on one with residents to enrich their lives by putting together individualized activities reminiscent of activities they enjoyed pre diagnosis. I became interested in law while taking a course in college as part of my medical assistant training. The course mainly focused on medical malpractice, and how to avoid it, as well as HIPPA compliance. Learning the laws that protect patient’s rights was fascinating to me and definitely peaked my interest towards the legal field.
